once upon a time

a sweet baby quilt that will soon be off to it's new owner.  I saw this twinner quilt last week and it reminded me that I needed to get mine posted.
the backing is a Nicey Jane print from Heather Bailey (i love this print, in all colors).
I stippled this quilt because it's the fasted way to quilt (for me), I know, I know i'm supposed to be trying different quilting methods--next quilt will be different.  now to get this mailed off before the baby arrives...

update:  the fabric is by alexander henry, called "once upon a time"

    That is just gorgeous - you see so amny like this but this one stands out - it really pops.

    That is adorable~!! I stipple everything...It's so much easier, and honestly I DO think it gives it an overall better appearance, but that's just me :)

    I forgot how much I loved this fabric until this popped up in my reader! Alexander Henry makes the cutest prints.

    I've just bought a panel and now know what I'll be making my sister in law for the new baby. Did you just use Konas for the solids?

    It's so pretty! I love all the colours.. they're bold but calm. And I tend to stipple everything because it's quickest for me too. One day I'll do something else hehe

    There is something about this quilt... I'm not generally drawn to this style, but something about the way you chose such large center pieces or the colour combo... I love it!
