dick and jane

This was one of those quilts that I had very LOW expectations for, but have ended up LOVING it!

I cut the dick and jane blocks out about a year ago, and finally put them to use in a quilt. It's the perfect baby blankie.

I really wish I'd finish this quilt before starting another one...but an idea came to me, and I got excited.

Caught up (again) on my squares for the star quilt along...
week 10:
week 11:this is my favorite so far! I just love it.

week 12:this is my least favorite...not the pattern, but my fabric choices. I'm too lazy to redo anything, so hopefully it'll fade into the quilt once I have the whole thing completed.

colorful coins

Finally finished this one, and really LOVE it!
Backing is large colorful polka dots. I let my daughter pick out the binding, and she did a great job...I love the mustardy yellow! Available in my etsy shop.

I'm back from a 2 week vacation (it was very relaxing).
I mentioned that my sisters and I were swapping fabric...this is the stack that I came home with!
