katie jump rope strips


this quilt is a special order through my etsy shop. she requested prints from denyse schmidt's katie jump rope line, with the addition of some black and white. (have you heard the katie jump rope line is being discontinued?)

i forgot how fast strips quilts come together, and i really like the simplicity too.

    nettie,
    the living room color is sherwin williams sw6211 Rainwashed...it looks green on the card, but sunlight and in my living room it looks much more blue. it's a really fickle color...changes in the light. i tried a million blues in that room and they all looked hideous. this one is perfect. (the rug is a silvery blue and brown).hope this helps.

    Love the new quilts - I have a strip quilt ready to sew together also. It's nice to have a fast project.

    By the way, I saw Jacquie's comment above about the color - just had to comment that we recently did that very same color in our bedroom and I love it! It really is a great blue.

    I did not hear that, but it is so hard to fine now anyways. What a bummer! I'm going to have to go on the hunt and stash some away. Great quilt!

    This is lovely! I would never have thought to put the black and white with Katie Jump Rope, but it's very striking. I especially like that (Michael Miller?) number print!
