  3. while i have always been a fan of purple, it is interesting that so many other have been drawn to it lately. lately so many fabric designers have been including such rich shades in their lines. before now, it was always tough to find a decent looking shade of the color. i look forward to seeing this quilt in the distant future. :)

  6. There's just something about seeing a nice roll of binding like that...

I'm a purple kind of gal. That's a nice shade of purple. Looks like it would go good with a soft pink.

  8. I used to hate binding. Now I enjoy it. It signals the end of the project is near and it can be your final little creative "statement." But I'm really curious to see what this purple binding will be surrounding!

  11. Purple binding is just wonderful. So many wonderful things are purple, grapes, eggplant, lilacs, crocus, irises, well I could go on and on. Your quilt will be gorgeous!

  13. I meant to comment on your last quilt, your "Christmas present to yourself". It really inspired me to look at colors a different way. I would have never put those colors together, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM! I went to the hardware store and got chips and went home and played with colors. Thanks for opening my eyes!
