this quilt has been in the works for a while, my sister asked me to make it for her months ago... It kept getting put on the back burner because she said there was no rush. It feels good to be making progress on it.

Wow, it's just beautiful! I never seem to use red in my own quilts, but I really love how it looks! (and that bit of blue is perfect!!) This makes me think I should buy some more red fabrics...
I love red + white quilts. I really like the aqua in it, too. I think I will have to add a quilt like this to my to do list. :)
