I finished my cotton and steel quilt top. I made 16 patches, then sewed them together. I used this method and it works like a charm. Easier than sewing (and cutting) every individual square together, but still looks random. It's twin size, so now I have to decide quilting. Something easy...
**I've had several questions about the size of the squares. They finish at 2 inches, so I cut them at 2.5inches.

That's so pretty... what size squares did you use?
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I look forward to seeing how you quilt it. Diagonal straight lines?
ReplyDeleteI really like how all the cotton and steel fabrics work together. Nice scrappy quilt. I just finished up two stockings using C & S and I am pleased with them.
ReplyDeleteHappy stitching
Your quilt looks great. I should do that with all the squares I have.
ReplyDeleteI love it! What size strips did you use?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Now I'm dying to make a postage stamp quilt ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is just beautiful! I love the classic look of patchwork.
