I have a big family and my husband has a big family, so there are always babies being born, which means I make a lot of baby quilts. And I LOVE baby quilts. they are so quick and fast. I haven't made one for every niece or nephew, but I do my best.
My sister recently had her first baby boy and I sent this quilt off to
him. I love this quilt. I love the colors and the design. (Inspired by this one.)
I loved making these blocks. They are really quick, and almost mindless.
I used a grey stripe for the binding
and pieced leftovers together for the backing.
I can't wait to meet little damon.
So cute! Perfect for a little boy - congrats!
ReplyDeletelove this baby quilt! It looks very nautical! I'm sure it will be loved for years!

ReplyDeletenettie, i've just used your machine binding tute for the third or fourth time to remind myself how to put the binding ends together. i finish quilts so infrequently that i can never remember how to do this without help. and your tute works every single time, first try! thanks so much. =)
