winner!

And now the winner of the GO! Fabric Cutter is #259--

Michie who said, "I have been itching to make a hexagon quilt but all of the cutting is pretty daunting. I would love to be able to use the Go!"

please contact me Michie (nettiepete at gmail dot com) to claim your prize!

(thanks everyone for entering, I wish I could offer one to each of you.)

And a sneak peak at a baby quilt I started as a custom order.  We've since decided to go with a different design, but I still really like this one, so I'll probably finish it up and save it for the next baby gift I need.  (wouldn't it be nice to have one ready when a baby shower comes up!)

  4. I always try and keep a couple baby quilts on hand. When a friend had a grandbaby (or greatgrand baby on the way) I like to give the Granny a quilt to use at her house, as well as one for the new mom.

  9. The winner is the quilt you are showing! I love it! How did you make the pieces so diverse? I can see the blue pieces in all different colors and maybe the beige in different beiges and/or whites. I'm so inspired by the quilts on the blogosphere... now if I could just live long enough to make them all!!!!!!!!!!!
