cute, cute, cute

i love craft pudding's etsy shop. such adorable stamps, she has even made custom stamps for me for my etsy shop--i think she's amazing. recently she printed some of her designs via spoonflower, and i quickly snatched some up for myself.

i am in love.

it might be my current favorite print. i hope she does more. now i need to get out of my sewing funk, so i can put this fabric to use.

mountain baby blankets

my new friend, rachel, contacted me earlier this week to see if i'd be interested in donating blankets to babies in need in appalachian kentucky. i can hardly stand the thought of cold, blanket-less babies, so i'm off to make some receiving blankets. if you are interested in helping, feel free to contact rachel via her blog.

nest

another on my to-do list done! That leaves 2 'in progress' quilts, I am so close. I used the tutorial here to make this disappearing nine patch (except my starting squares were charm packs --5in square )

I used Tula Pink's Nest line of fabric (I love her!), and am happy with it. It's so bright and colorful! I had hoped it would be a little bigger (it measures 50in x 44in), but I ran out of charms...

I pieced the back with fabric from the same line.
***edited to add: I made 14 nine patches using 126 five inch squares******
